In 2019, a youth apartment in Beijing commissioned us to create a mural. It's located near the airport, with planes frequently flying overhead, so we thought, why not depict all of Beijing's airplanes? Fortunately, the client accepted this proposal. The final mural included 181 different planes from 84 airlines, utilizing 34 distinct models.
Regrettably, this mural seems to also mark the peak of Beijing's aviation industry. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of international flights taking off and landing in Beijing (which contributed greatly to the diversity of the planes) has yet to fully recover.
